Identify all work tasks that can incur unnecessary cost due to human error or inaccurate information.
Rank work tasks by expected cost (number of occurrences, cost per occurence, etc.) and collect data to confirm rank.
Brainstorm how to eliminate human error and/or inaccurate information by re-engineering the task, developing application requirements while
considering existing technologies/software.
If existing software options do not meet all application requirements, determine if a close match exists and develop architectural
documentation to fill the requirements gap.
Create and/or procure software to accomplish application requirements.
Develop training program for work task using a testing platform as software is ready to verify it meets those application requirements. When ready go live.
Collect data to confirm improvements in the work task.
